As an author Snowling draws insights from his unique experiences as a top tier Political Consultant in the United States and Latin America. He was named “International Consultant of the Year” by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) in 2015.
Snowling has served on state, federal, and international races in Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Louisiana, South Dakota, Washington State and Central America. He is undefeated (5-0) as a Campaign Manager in open seat races.
Snowling steered an upset victory for Juan Carlos Varela in the race for the Presidency of the Republic of Panama. He spent two years on the ground in Panama as a General Consultant and Campaign Director guiding Varela’s campaign to impressive victories in both the 2013 presidential primary and the 2014 general election.
Snowling received both the AAPC’s Campaign Excellence Award and Campaigns & Elections Magazine’s Reed Award for “Best International Campaign” due to his work in Panama.
Snowling also gained years of specialized experience in the financial services industry as a Public Relations Manager for the American Bankers Association (ABA) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
Snowling was one of three PR Managers working with the ABA during the historic credit crisis of 2008-2009. In this role he developed and implemented a successful public relations effort to help bolster public confidence in the American banking system and avoid a run on banks.
Born and raised in Maryland, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Maryland, College Park. Snowling later earned an MBA from George Mason University’s School of Management in 2011.
